First "real" song you remember

Summer doldrums are upon us.

What song do you first remember listening to or singing to, just couldn't wait to hear again? And attach a youtube if you can find it. I'm not talking "It tsy bitsy Spider" but something on the radio, or pandora or iTunes (for the younger crowd), or hollowed out logs (for Knapp)

For me:

Downtown by Petula Clark

The much older brother of one of my childhood friends put this on when we were hanging out, and it hit me. From the audio sampling to the free form instruments and the way it makes you feel like you are a traveler along with them. Man, good stuff.

I remember missing the world premier of this on MTV the night before, and everyone at school was talking about it. I sat and watched MTV for hours on end just to see this video. Did that for months.

I was born in 1967 and I think this came out in 1972. My brothers are quite a bit older than me and always wanted to hang out with them. As you can imagine, there were times when they wanted me to "go home". I remember then this song came out and I adopted it as my theme song. I loved it. No....my name isn't Willy.

I was born in '81 and this song came out in '85. It's maybe the first real tune I remember singing along to everytime I heard it when I was a kid.

The local station when I was a kid was a country station out of Ord, KNLV. So all we listened to was country music. I hated most of it, but I did like this song.
