Forum format suggestion

I'm willing - so long as it doesn't lead to constant nit-picking and requests/suggestions for changes. Need Eric's and Chad's blessing - and we probably need to ask the members to weigh in. A lot of folks don't appreciate change on the Board, as we know whenever we change anything.

I think one of the main reasons that it currently is so categorized is that the search function did not work before. It seems to work fine now which should make things easier to find .

Actually, it's because some members complained that things were so "jumbled" that they didn't know where to go to see topics that interested them. Kind of a "damned if we do, damned if we don't"...

Okay - Landlord has brought this issue up again. So, here we go guys:

1. Do we make any changes at all other than what we've already done?

2. If so, what changes? If you don't recall Landlord's suggestion, the thread is HERE, and includes other members' thoughts.

It seems to me that the real gripe, if there is one, is more that folks want to have a major forum of primarily Husker football, but be able to post any football-related topics - other schools, NCAA proposals, etc.

So - thoughts?

I think the way we have it is more organized and user friendly.

Just lumping all that info together would make it futile to try to find something. Just my 2 cents.

I think that LoMS suggestion and the current setup are equally efficient. Here's what's going to happen if we change it:

1. People will be initially confused and likely a few will be upset.

2. A week will pass and it will be golden.

From our standpoint, it won't be any easier/more difficult to moderate; so it really doesn't matter.
