Gameday chat?

I get some sort of error when trying to go to the Manage IP.Chat in the admin CP. Any other admin get that too?

Fatal error: Call to undefined method cp_skin_tools::settings_row_start_normal() in /home/huskerbo/public_html/_hbadmin_/applications/core/modules_admin/tools/settings.php on line 1221

Yes, which is odd - the instilation commpleted with no errors. I didn't try that method to access the options for the Chat settings; I went through the System Settings in the CP.

Meh, as long as we can get to the settings and they work, that's fine. Probably put that error on a list to solve someday..

I'll do it. I'll let them know it will be available beginning 30 minutes before kickoff, and that the same rules apply.
Well...so much for me donning on my Big Red Thong and running through the forums with my sign saying..."Huskerboard Chat is Here"!

I would pay good money to see that. Said nobody ever.

===============================

I'll put it in a status update. As another way of getting the word out.

Not sure what's going on. We were supposed to be set up for 250. I may need to open a ticket with IPB on this one; the software runs thru IPB's server, so it controls the numbers.

Do we have numbers on the Gameday Chat, such as number of members joined, number of posts, or average time on chat? I ask because, for the first two games, I have tried to join the chat to keep that feature of the board active during the game. Against BYU, there was some activity, mostly Nuance, WalksAlone, and myself. However, for the USA game, I was the only one who joined the chat, at least the times that I was active on it.

The BYU and USA Gameday Threads on the other hand have 2005 replies 35,016 views and 653 replies 9872 views, respectively (this does not exclude the replies and views that occurred post game).

I just wanted to share this observation with everyone to heard others' thoughts on the success of the chat feature, and to see if the juice is worth the squeeze.
