Gator Bowl

The pres. of Gator bowl just said that the official word will probably come tomorrow pm or Wed. They can't officially offer until the BCS has "released" the team from BCS consideration. For some reason, the BCS hadn't released NU yet, and will obviously do so tomorrow at their press conference at 2 pm. Once NU is released from the BCS, the Gator will offer.

When Kugler pressed him with "hypothetical" situations, such as....."what if a fan has already contacted travel agents to buy a Gator Bowl package, should that fan need to worry about getting their deposit back "......... the pres. responded with "if a fan book a trip, that would be money well spent".

Also talked about possible opponents.....mentioned FSU and Clemson....didn't mention GT.... missed the part when he talked about what would determine FSU or Clemson, but he did flat out say that the Gator Bowl match up on New Year's Day between NU-FSU or NU-Clemson would be the best match up at their time slot.

He also said that he isn't allowed to give players extra "special treatment", but he would like to have NU's kicker over for dinner.

I was reading another article before this one an they were talking about maybe it beening Neb vs V-Tech which I guess I could maybe see but its all ready been done so why are they even up for a chocie.. Anywaz it does look like it will be Neb, but we will have to see how things play out with the ACC.. FSU or G-Tech wouldnt be bad... I know some of this has already been said before wanted you guys to see what there paper is saying..
