The girls just never got over that hump of exhaustion. They played tired the whole game, it definately showed in their shooting, but even more so in the rebounding or boxing out or lack there of. Oh well they still had one hell of a good season.

Conference championship game, NCAA #6 seed - that's pretty damned good for a team half of which is made up of girls playing their first D1 season. The future is very bright. I gotta correct myself. Connie said, and I knew this but spaced it, that although we had a dozen girls on the roster this year, only ten played meaningful minutes all year.

That means that 60% of our roster were Freshmen or Redshirt Freshmen, playing their first D1 seasons.

My God. Look out in a year or so, Big Ten. Don't say we didn't warn you.
