NU is 3-1 against those teams you mentioned. Colorado has yet to do anything with Hawk, so I don't see anything that is going to change there. Kansas and MU host the Huskers, but also lost a ton. And KSU, are you serious with that, KSU, in Lincoln.

Nebraska hasn't won it all and Rex hasn't won the Heisman in my eyes. Heck, I question whether he is ready to be the No. 2 guy. He will have to prove that on the field. I am thinking that Helu needs to be the main horse here. Other guys have to be bit players.

Don't know on Lee, but he could turn out to be as good as Ganz.

As for the D, well, they improved a TON last year and should make at least a small step forward this year.

NU is rated and deserves to be so, two or three losses and a trip to the Big 12 title game is not "pie in the sky" thinking. Looking at the other teams around NU, it is very doable. Anyone who says otherwise is simply a moron. No other way to say it.

"I’m not used to losing. I’m not used to getting beat soundly. Once again, that’s my fault. Yes, damn right, yes, I am embarrassed. I apologize to the team, I apologize to the state of Nebraska, I apologize to everybody associated with the University of Nebraska football and it’s my responsibility. I was hired to do a job and I didn’t do that job tonight.” – Bo Pelini

No coach likes that. What he is special ? LOL You do know that the defense at LSU when Bo Peep was there, was LSU's worst team defense in the last 10 years. LOL
I don't think you have any clue what you're talking about. When Bo Pelini was at LSU his defense was ranked 3rd in overall defense in Bo's 3 years with LSU and he's defense soundly beat Ohio State in the National Championship too.

That quote that I have as my sig is one reason why I know Bo Pelini is the right choice for the job at Nebraska and one reason why Callahan was a bust and should never coach any team. Callahan dragged the Raiders to hell and did the same thing with Nebraska. Callahan never really cared about the Nebraska tradition and history where Bo Pelini does.

To the children of the corn, hopefully you get the season you deserve, a piss poor one. I love without playing a single game you fools have already won it all. Why ? Because your Nebraska. LOL. Lately you have been everyone's patsy. Getting thumped should be a way of life for you now. But, wait, Rex is here. Oh boy, just give him the heisman, because he plays at Nebraska. LOL. He has done nothing, just like Lee and the rest of your weakass offense. Your defense is not much better. LOL But yet because their Nebraska, you know, the state with at 5 towns, the state where residents think indoor plumbing is a new invention. This year, lets see, Nebraska will finish behind at least 2 of these teams in the big 12

Kansas

Missouri

Colorado

K-State.

But wait, we are talkin NU football, the home of the pink shirts on defense and the swiis cheese hands on offense. They win it all, despite their coach looking like a resident of Gene Leahy Mall witing for a free lunch. Everything you see or read about this team is total wishes or dreams. The stats say your middle of the pack. But Creamed corn nation cannot hear of that. Nope. They will invent stories and stats from 10 years ago to prove how good they are today. LOL
Dear Thnderus,

I've tabulated the following errors for your edification:

1. Your first sentence should either be restructured or the second comma should be re-thought.

2. Second sentence - insert "how" between "love" and "without."

3. You should remove the space between the "why" and the punctuation.

4. In your fourth sentence it should be "you're" (as in "you are") rather than your.

5. Getting thumped isn't a way of life until you have done it for decades . . . like most of the Big XII North teams . . . one of which I'd guess you are a fan of.

6. "But, wait, Rex is here" would be more appropriate as "But wait! Rex is here."

7. "Heisman" should be capitalized.

8. There shouldn't be a comma after "heisman."

9. Your first LOL was immature and awkwardly placed . . . your next two more so.

10. "Weakass" should be "weak a$$." It'd be even better if you could come up with a more fitting adjective.

11. "Their" should be "they're." (as in "they are." Contractions . . . check them out sometime.)

12. "The state with at 5 towns" does not make any sense at all. Perhaps rephrase as "the state with 5 towns."

13. "The state where residents think indoor plumbing is a new invention" should be it's own sentence. (Plus UNL is home to the largest urinals west of the Mississippi. That makes us an AUTHORITY on indoor plumbing.)

14. "Talkin" should end with a "g" unless you are from Missouri.

15. "Swiis" is spelled "swiss." You might want to think of a different descriptor. I'm not sure it suits your purpose.

16. "Witing" should have an "a" between the "w" and the "i."

17. "Everything you see or read about this team is total wishes or dreams" should probably be rephrased as "everything you see or read about this team is just wishes and dreams." The "total" would be alright if you changed it to "totally" and switched the "or" to an "and."

18. Again, "your" should be "you're." (Those devilish contractions again!)

Thanks for stopping in at Huskerboard. I'm sure your contributions will continue to be as informative and useful as your first post.

Apparently, the STATS do not put us at the middle of the pack considering the amount of college football analysts that have Nebraska winning the North.

I thought about doing this, too, because such overt butchery of the language just kills me. Only problem is that our little friend here won't have a clue what you're saying. Your whole post is just going to be Charlie Brown's teacher to him, just a bunch of "Wawaa wa wawaa, wawawa wawa."

His defense was good, 3rd overall, his defense in 2007 gave up 50 to Ark, 34 to Ala, 43 Kentucky and 24 Aub. Thats champioship defense ? Your crazy. Read the papers, the fans wanted him out of there.

And what do you know about K-State fool ?

Mr. Tabulator, why don't you try and tabulate stats and see that the Creamed corn has, is and will be, a rather piss poor team.

The only thing funny is that you actually believe the hype. Besides, how can you guys expect to win, You do not have any convicts on the team yet. But I bet good old god, Tommy boy can get a few released from prison like he did back in the day when he ran things.
