Greg Bell

Ozigbo is a senior

Wilbon isn't on the active roster

Washington shows flashes but isn't even close to being great

Mazour gets a lot of hype for rarely seeing the field

And then you have players committed who aren't even on the team yet.

Who, exactly, was he afraid of getting passed by?
I think players are scared to compete. Might be a social norm more than anything at this point.

Frost has got some issues.

From a non red/white sunglass wearer. Ozigbo is not the answer at running back. Sure he looked good against Purdue, but he is far from a starting rb for a P5 team.

Bell looked good against Colorado, then Martinez got hurt and no one looked good.

The combo of Bell and Washington looked promising.

Tre Bryant retiring really hurt as well.

Not trying to pour salt here, but Bethune Cookman is the only game I can see yall winning this year.

I don’t recall the Tommie involvement in DB getting benched.
He probably went to TO and said "Coach, you gotta get DB outta here, he's fumbling all over the place".  This was the UCLA game in '93 when Benning got the start after Calvin Jones was injured the previous week.  Benning fumbles a couple times in the first quarter/half.  LP came in and was a complete stud the remainder of the game.  It was the first game that LP got significant playing time.

Tommie told the coaches on the sideline that DB needs to go sit down. I believe it was against UCLA.
Yep, at UCLA in September 1993.
