Did the braided pork loin thing today. It was excellent but dang do we have a bunch leftover. Did a 9.7 lb. Pork loin. It looked pretty much just like the picture up there, just a little different color because I used Blues Hog Raspberry Chipotle bbq sauce (which btw is awesome). Sent huge baggies home with both my son and daughter, had it for lunch (5 people) and dinner (4 people) and still have about 25% left.
The braiding was very easy and got a bunch of rub flavor (used Meat Church The Gospel and The Holy gospel rubs) in there due to basically tripling the surface area before braiding. I’d definitely do it again.
