Why would you expect a sweep? The Citadel has already beaten a couple of teams this season that are better than Nebraska, Louisville and Virginia Tech.

This isn't football. There are a lot of small schools with very good baseball programs.

The last time Nebraska was at The Citadel, about six or seven years ago, NU was ranked #3 and lost. Since then we've also beaten a couple of #1 teams, including eventual national champion South Carolina. In fact, we swept the c$%ks during one of their national championship seasons.

Last year, I was reading these same types of comments on the Kansas State and Pitt boards after we hammered them. Never underestimate your opponent.

This is exactly the way a fan of an opposing team should post on a message board. Nice job. Maybe you can teach Creighton basketball "fans" some lessons.

 
Sorry to say it looks like the baseball team has adopted the dreaded "lack of confidence" mindset that bedeviled the basketball team earlier this season.

The good news is that is something that CAN be turned around.
