Gun Control

You see this kind of thing too often. I feel like, if you're careless enough with a gun that you lose it or get it stolen, you should lose your license for a while, like losing your driver's license if you point out.


 
There should be a zero tolerance policy for failing to follow appropriate best practices for gun ownership and handling. In Omaha, I believe most of the gun crimes (particularly gang gun crimes) are committed with stolen or "lost" guns. Too many people carelessly leave them under car seats, unlocked glove boxes, or (if you're like one of my family members) on the kitchen table in broad daylight with the back door unlocked while no one is home.  :facepalm:
