Harrison Beck

My brother in law coached a few years with the Frosts.  He always said she was far and away the better coach in that marriage.  You should have seen her chuck the ball at the receivers during warmups.  It was pretty impressive.

Yep, watched the Battle Creek/ Wood River Semi final when SF was a senior.  She was tossing 40 yard perfect spirals at the WR without any effort.  As far as the better coach, I have heard that multiple times.

Why is this thread about Scott Frost too?

I have never heard this podcast before, and when i looked it up, i bypassed this one (i will get to it later), and went straight for one with Carol Frost.  I'm 25 minutes into it and I have changed my mind on wanting Scott to coach at NU... I want his MOM instead!

:dunno

What's kind of funny now that I've listened to this podcast, Beck himself brings up hiring Scott Frost at the 1:19:35 mark. ;)

Just listened to the podcast...it was just...like...I don't know.  Highly entertaining, Beck is a good story teller.  His Nick Saban story was pretty funny.

That is a very interesting listen.  That guy certainly thought a lot of himself back in his playing days (as well as still today).  I don't remember but did he mention that the Boston College start he threw 5 interceptions or did he just say "a couple"?

Best of luck to him on the Cleanosaur thing though.

Ya think???

I liked the idea that he was pissed off when he got here because he couldn't just call all his own plays.  BC required him to actually run the plays he wanted.  THEN...he goes to NC State and....God forbid...they expected the same thing.  Oh the horror.  He had to get all the way down to North Alabama before they let him do it.

If he would have started there, he would be in the NFL right now.
