I've always wondered this ... why does the net not go all the way to the sideline.  And is it legal to hit it around the net.  Kind of hard to tell from this shot but it wouldn't have been much over the net if the net extended wider.


 
We had a ping-pong table at my last job, and a few of us got pretty good at putting enough spin on the ball that it curved in the air. That's basically what Raf did there, just larger, with a much heavier ball, on the run, around the net, into a tiny spot on the corner.
