The camel spider also known as the wind scorpion or sun spider is in fact a member of the solifugae family and not a spider at all. It’s of the arachnid family but not actually a spider. They are very large for an arachnid and can reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They’re usually light brown in color are covered in fine hairs. Interestingly, the male is usually much smaller than the female but has longer legs. LINK

Something squirrely happened yesterday. A squirrel rode to and from work with me in the undercarriage of my truck. I think he was on top of the spare tire.

you want to talk about bs, epson printers. those are garbage. i only use it for black and white printing. yet, periodically i have to replace the color cartridges (there are three of them) otherwise it refuses to print. it is like paying a licensing fee to use the damn thing and it is a huge waste. printing is bad enough for the environment, but now i need to throw out/recycle perfectly good and full cartridges? it is criminal for so many reasons.

does anyone have any advice?

I feel your pain. I've got an HP printer and it has 6 (or more, I'd have to look) color cartridges. Even though I've configured it to print B&W it still will not print without replacing some cartridges that expired. I rarely print so they aren't empty cartridges. It's very annoying. I was thinking HP should be giving away these printers if they are going to force people to buy color cartridges.
