I must have one very large mosquito in my bedroom. From the looks of my arms, legs, and back, he must weigh 8-10 ozs. And he's nocturnal and knows how to hide. In thinking of releasing about 10 spiders in my room.

Anyone ever run across one of these giant concrete mail route arrows? They were ten miles apart all the way across the U.S. from coast to coast. Ran right through the middle of Nebraska. From Omaha, and across going over North Platte. There must have been about 40 or 45 of them in Nebraska at one time. They were for airplanes carrying mail across the U.S. in the early days of aviation, around 1920 or so. LINK

Speaking of bats, we were sitting on the back patio a couple days ago and a bat kept swooping down and flying past us. Flew by about a half dozen times. Also, I have owls in my back yard. And fish. Really.
