Drinkin whiskey neat tonight. I don't even own an ice cube, for the time being. We bought a new fridge during the Black Friday sale. Getting delivered tomorrow. So we had our old fridge carted off today to make room. It didn't occur to my wife to put a few ice cubes in teh deep freeze. So, whiskey neat! Not so bad really.

Men who do more household chores typically viewed as feminine — like cleaning, cooking and washing — have less sex than men who don't, according to a new study.

The findings, published today (Jan. 30), in the February issue of the journal American Sociological Review, are correlational, so they can't say whether dishwashing actually makes men less sexy.

I can't drink whiskey on the rocks. Seems to dull all the awesome flavors and leave more of the harsh and less interesting ones behind. Neat is the way to go almost all of the time

Oh you could just tell the bartender you're allergic to ice, they may look at you funny but it works every time!

 
Southern set an NCAA record by scoring the first 44 points of the game en route to a 116-12 blowout of Champion Baptist College on Monday.
The Jaguars (4-9) broke the all-divisions record that used to be held by Seton Hall, which scored the first 34 points against Kean College on Nov. 19, 1998. They did not set a record for margin of victory. Long Island University beat Medgar Evers 179-62 on Nov. 26, 1997.

So a COLLEGE team only managed to score 12 points in a game? I think I could get me and 4 guys from my office to play and still manage 13.

They need to remove Champion out of their school name. Forever.

More than half of female Marines in boot camp can't do three pullups, the minimum standard that was supposed to take effect with the new year, prompting the Marine Corps to delay the requirement, part of the process of equalizing physical standards to integrate women into combat jobs.
The delay rekindled sharp debate in the military on the question of whether women have the physical strength for some military jobs, as service branches move toward opening thousands of combat roles to them in 2016.
