I wonder why milk was relatively more expensive back then than it is now? Maybe due to lack of refrigeration back then? Or because of all the subsidies today?

Can you pass the written police officer exam?

By Rowena Lindsay, Staff Writer, The Christian Science Monitor

Do you have what it takes to protect and serve? Most US police academies have a written entrance exam that tests verbal, mathematical, and reasoning abilities. As there is no national or standardized police exam, this quiz consists of a compilation of sample police test questions.

Oh man, I might not be smart enough to be a cop. I got six wrong.

Police: Texas high school football players 'targeted,' 'blindsided' game official
Greg Botelho-Profile-ImageJill Martin-Profile-Image By Greg Botelho and Jill Martin, CNN Updated 8:14 AM ET, Tue September 8, 2015

(CNN)The defensive back comes charging in full-speed, knocking his blindsided target to the ground. A teammate follows moments later by diving in helmet-first. These kinds of bone-crushing hits often land the players involved on football highlight reels. But this time, they could land the players in jail. The reason: They didn't level an opposing high school player, but a game official.

No arrests had been made as of Monday, yet the Police Department in Marble Falls, Texas, said in a statement that it is investigating the incident and the two players in question.

Arrests? Wow. But I guess as I think about it, maybe it would be appropriate to arrest these guys for battery. I mean, there isn't much difference between this and walking up to a stranger and sucker punching him.
