The problem with YouTube coddling content creators by removing the dislike is there was a legitimate/important use for it. If I'm looking for information on how to create or fix something, or get some kind of expert advice, I know which videos to ignore based on the % of people liking it. I used to use that all the time to decide which videos to go to.
