While we're at this, I noticed that teach called out Moiraine in the P&R forum without any reason to call her out. I know that we're not too high on Moiraine atm, but that seems intentionally provoking.

I never want to be in a position where I tell people how they should live there lives, as long as they are being good citizens. That said, I think on a basic level this policy is meant to help a small, very small group of poeple.

If a 5'8" cute blonde female with perky breasts and short shorts walks into the womens room no one thinks twice, even though she may have a penis. However, her friend, who has a vagina, but is 6'1", deep voice, broadly built and slight facial hair is kept out of the same restroom because she "might" be a man is rediculous.

We are at a point where we just need to rely on common sense and hope our laws against peeping, assault, and other crimes are adequate. Didn't Einstein say something about human technology surpassing human understanding? Maybe he's right..

This may just be me, but I'm not too high on teach. He's teetered and tottered and toed the line, but he's plainly a troll. When he's not talking about how drunk he is, or loudly complaining about the 'virgins' of HuskersOnline (seriously, what's up with that?), he's just here to screw with people. It's his style. I guess he's managed to not just unload on someone, but I'd not shed a tear were he to go infest some other haunt.

I think a little bit of "calling out" every once in awhile is .... maybe not fine but going to happen and can be overlooked. But Redux had basically made it his mission to go after a couple people and I don't think that's good for the long run. He was very understanding and almost apologetic so I think we'll be good there.

guess I am drinking the kool aid with 8 wins - sad to think that predicting 8 wins regular season, is drinking the kool aid now. Cannot predict a bowl yet. Also knowing Riley and crew we could drop any of these including Wyoming.

I was thinking more like sour grapes....

This is not contributing anything. Just taking a shot at another poster. It's doing the same thing, just from the other side. It's just easy to miss because it's more fun to be on the positive side.

Good point, Mav. I would say MattyIce and 84HuskerLaw are our two greatest offenders for spamming positivity. Actually, it is funny to watch MattyIce get mad at 84HuskerLaw for this exact issue. Maybe 84HuskerLaw > MattyIce for unconditional fandom.

Agree. Ultimately, we have to look at these situations and determine whether the post derails the thread or is flaming. If it is, then that's the member we need to address. If it is neither, then we need to address the member that takes a personal shot in response.

To day, we've never banned anyone for being constantly negative or constantly positive. We HAVE banned them when they engaged in derailing - formerfan being the most "famous" of that group.
