Job Description:

Head Coach:

1) Teacher - You have come to learn from this guy on a regular basis. He has expert knowledge of Husker football. He is always helpful and willing to help you out with something you need, whether on the boards or PMs...especially newcomers.

2) Play Caller - This guy “runs the show” in his mind. You often see him on Huskerboard organizing several "audibles" at any given time in a heated topic of discussion. He’s been known to get some of his preseason predictions right, and his knowledge of Husker football is second to none. He often sways the opinions of the majority in a discussion thread.

3) Worldly Knowledge - Even though some coaches use a "cheat sheet" with all the plays on them, our Head Coach doesn't need them. This member is active in numerous areas of Huskerboard, offering insights on various topics already posted, and keeping Huskerboard informed of breaking news or important subjects. Because of the crucial nature of this position, this member should be a veteran of many years at Huskerboard.

Please nominate or second the person you feel best exemplifies these traits at Huskerboard.

He's kind of the face of Huskerboard, isn't he? He's always around, he knows his stuff, and he's looked up to by most everybody.

 
If potential nominees include admin/mods, I give it to AR Husker Fan with Knapp 'the coach in waiting'.

I would imagine AR would more likely fall under Athletic Director or Director of Football Operations, the final two positions to be handed out, and which are reserved for Admins/Mods.

 
Being a young guy I learn a lot from the guys who have been around the program a long time. So I'll nominate one of them, TO Bull.

 
So now that you're nominated Knapplc are you going to run a smear campaign against your opponents or just post links to some of your most memorable comments?

I had assumed the admins/mods were eligible because of HSKRNOKC was nominated, but I agree that AR probably fits the bill of AD...

HuskerfaninOkieland now has my ringing endorsement to be the HC, just as long as he doesn't make me run windsprints :thumbs
