Yes, there is a reason the "experts" rate him 5 star but he's yet to step on a college field and compete and the truth is, he's not coming to DONU because he's not committed enough to compete for playing time. Bo and Company don't make false promises and players that hold out are often looking for a promise. What more can be offered from any other university? Nebraska leads the nation in academic all Americans, the defensive staff has a history of pipe lining players to the NFL and the support/training facilities are second to none.

So... yea... my comments of "primadonna" are most definitely warranted.

No, YOUR "primadonna" comments are unwarranted. YOU'RE way off base with these comments about Priest without knowing anything that is going on.

Biggest decision of this kids life. I hope he weighs all of his options and chooses the best one FOR HIM. I do think and hope that is with the Huskers, but if not, best of luck to him.

 
Wow. Probably not worth responding to any further, but I can't help it. We have had an absolute ton of players that we had to fight recruiting battles for, even under Osborne. I agree that recruiting rankings are overblown, but you still need to land difference makers and you often have to beat out other schools to do so. While you're doing research, read up on the recruitment of turner gill. Does he qualify as a prima donna? Should Osborne have stopped recruiting him?

This is silly. I agree that we want guys with the right attitude, and this staff has placed a premium on that, but you can't make such sweeping judgements about a kid solely because he's taking his time with such a big decision.

So the mere fact that he is taking time in going through the process of choosing a school indicates that he is a primadonna that we don't want? You do realize that every uncommitted player we are still recruiting is doing the same thing. Personally, if I were in Priests shoes I would want to examine all my options and make a well informed decision on where I want to spend my college career. Too often you see a player commit early in the process and later decommit after they realize they committed to the wrong school.

 
lol.... did I do my job in boosting the thread to rank one yet... it was getting boring as hell and needed some interesting dialog..

So... I thought I'd come in and get peeps going and help boost this thread some...

As for primadonna comments.... @ my secretly beloved Priest (whom most certainly entertains visions of grandeur) -- I honestly don't believe a word I said about the above. I would expect you to take the visits and if I was your dad, I'd be demanding you do. :)

also...

As a fan, I expect you to read this and laugh but only after getting frustrated/angry and wanting to reach through the monitor and strangle me but again... only after you commit. :)
