Yeah, I mentioned in a previous post that since we only have one picture it's difficult to pin point an exact number. You're the one who told me to give an estimate, genius.

You should admit that you're having a bad night and acting like a douche. You're calling me out for something you asked. :dunno
Listen, if you're just going to throw a hissy fit and start with the personal attacks, I'll put on my Mod hat and we'll have a serious talk. We don't allow personal attacks here, period. That's not negotiable.

I've humored you with this conversation, despite the fact that you're postulating something that is barely probable under the circumstances. I've admitted that you're the king of BMI. You have the ability to gauge body fat via the internet. Why you can't accept that and move on is beyond me. But at this point, I think it's best to move on.
You know, I love this board for a lot of reasons, but there is one thing that goes on here that is really annoying. There is this little click of people, including most of the MODs who will poke at the things people say, mock them, then throw around sarcastic ridicule, and even sometimes come out and call them foolish. Then once the OP is a little pissed and fires back with a response that shows their level of agitation, they are met with self-righteous condescension, followed by even more sarcasm. Finally, after the MOD really HAS been acting like a douche, the OP finally calls him a douche. But instead of realizing that they have been acting like a douche, the MOD will say something really douchey like: “Listen, if you're just going to throw a hissy fit and start with the personal attacks, I'll put on my Mod hat and we'll have a serious talk.” It is just so hypocritical, and makes it hard to do what these boards are intended for; a little meaningless debate about sports (or in this case physical fitness…I guess).
You've been around long enough to know about 1) the Report button, 2) the Board Feedback forum, and 3) the Woodshed. Please use any of those three features rather than airing your grievances in the football forum.
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black…I chose to air my grievance where it occurred (at least this time). Besides, if you follow the thread, isn’t it you who said to the OP: “Lighten up, Francis. You made a silly comment and got called on it. If that’s not OK, online forums are probably not your thing.”? Well, maybe if getting called out for being a hypocrite is not OK, online forums are probably not YOUR thing. I know about the wood shed etc. but I was trying to stand up for a new guy who just made a simple comment and very quickly became the subject of your ridicule…I thought keeping on topic and keeping the attacks from becoming personal was YOUR job…well I guess that is pretty difficult when you are the one doing the attacking.

Yeah Knappic you're being kind of a d!(k here bro.......
agree, by the way Dutch, I saw that you quoted a douchey remark by a MOD in your sig line a while back and thought it was funny so I coppied you...I didn't realize until just now that I am quoting the same MOD. Too funny. By the way, I just want to say (before the lock) that what I expect next is some self righteous response from knappic and then a lock before I can respond...so this was my preemtive response....ibtl :horns2

Look, no reason to get yer panties in a bunch. It was explained to me, made sense, and I moved on.

I still don't think it's the classiest thing to do, but if that what you do here, then I can understand it, and I'm not going to get in the way of it. If the side by sides are kept in good taste then, no harm no foul (and that Sandusky one doesn't fit that mold). No reason to be mean or defensive about about it tho.
Recommendations on good taste? That's rich, coming from someone who has a ribbed dildo as an avatar.

So the Nebraska job is thought of as a pretty good job. Why all the worry about him leaving. If he wants to go then do we really want him?
yes and no. yes we want him because over the last 4 years he has done a pretty good job at turning the huskers back into a top 25 team. but if he doesnt want to be here then no because he will be looking for other jobs instead of focusing on the team. but i dont see bo leaving anytime soon. the only bo leaves is if he is forced out which would be a huge mistake, because chances are we wont be able to get another solid coach and we will fall back into the kinda teams we seen here when callahan was here.
Remember the days when it was " Top 20 teams"? What year was it that it changed to 25 to make the has-beens feel good about not being in the bottom half of the 50 relevant college football teams. The only way we fall back into having teams that get blown out, lose multiple games you should win, and are ill prepared for Div1 football is to have anybody named Osborne or Pederson do the picking

FWIW a close relative of mine spoke directly to Bo about this very subject last week. He asked Bo about the rumors that he was out looking at other jobs or that he may not be happy at Nebraska. Bo response was that he loved it here (meaning Nebraska and Lincoln) and that his family loved it here. Said he was not looking to leave. Said he wouldn't be going anywhere unless UNL decided they didn't want him. He also made some crack about people on the internet and bloggers who start these rumors and that they are an extreme minority. This is all paraphrased from what my relative told me but the gist is that Bo is happy, apparently very happy, the rumors are not wearing him down, and he realizes there will always be a minority spurring these rumors. The honest truth from a good source.
Yeah...........uh huh

Here is my take on this game-

Spurrier is not known for winning bowls - I personally think he's probably a bit lazy and doesn't work his teams very hard. Their practice schedule seems to have been lighter than ours both at home and in Orlando. Bo likes lay offs, seems to do pretty well with extra time to prepare. Seems like we're practicing, going in full pads, etc. Advantage NU

Plus, we have a new offensive scheme - I think NU gains more from the extra practice time than SC does. Advantage NU

Overall, I think NU is more on the upswing than SC and therefore momentum puts us even with a potentially more talented SC team.

Both teams have lost a Defensive Coordinator and promoted from within. I don't think there is any doubt the loser in that situation is SC. Spurrier isn't probably quite as involved in the defense as BO. Advantage NU.

Familiarity - NU has been preparing for a 'new' team all season with the switch to the big 10. Advantage NU.

Odd weaknesses - advantage to SC in having a scrambling quarterback. NU seems to struggle dispropotionately against teams with a scrambling QB.

Team speed - TV analysts would say advantage SC. I am not as certain.

Toughness - I think I go advantage NU on this. The SEC just doesn't seem to have the games of endless pain and wearing down the opponent.

I think it comes down to the type of game - if NU never trails by more than 7, I think we'll be able to wear down and out coach SC. If NU is slow to defend the speed or if the O-line is overwhelmed early and we have to abandon the running game, we'll lose and probably lose ugly. I think we'll out scheme them, but we can't let them use their speed to change our schemes.

Only one key to the game is probably required - NU rushing for 200 yards.

Hai back. We beat the crap outta that team. The only reason we didn't beat them a second time is because we didn't want to play them in that bowl. What an insult to us to have to play them again. I'm so glad that Baylor beat them last night.

my point exactly. what assurances do you have that we "want" to play this game? after what i saw last January, i don't think any advantage can be given to NU for preparation.
Jan.? I saw Suh rip apart Texas O-Line, then we played one great game following that where Watson played HIS offense.........other than that.........preparation and NU don't fit in the same sentence.

The SEC will shred us, we're middle of the road Big Ten, ever watched what the SEC ( and everyone else) does to Big Ten teams in Bowls?

No. The reason we got beat in the Holiday Bowl is because we were outcoached, outplayed, our offensive line played like garbage, Taylor played treacherous and we couldn't stop Polk. I find it extremely annoying when people say that they lost a bowl game "because they didn't want to be there". You mean that a bunch of youngsters that live in Nebraska didn't want to be in sunny San Diego in late December?
Sorry, I respectfully disagree with you. When a person doesn't want to be somewhere it is reflected in their attitude. The attitude of the entire team from the coaches down to the players was one of 'WE DON'T WANT TO BE HERE!' You can claim it was because of the things you listed but those things were a reflection of the whole attitude of the team-coaches included. Sorry to annoy you but I'm not the only one that thought that at the time. It was so obvious. Hopefully, the attitude of the team/coaches is one of 'WE WANT TO BE HERE!' and it will be reflected in the way they play-lights out football. GBR!
And thats why Pelini needed to be fired directly after the game
