1. You're right. Your righteous indignation made me pound out a post so fast I didn't think about grammar.

2. I suppose it is a recruiting thread and a football thread (who could we use). Whatever, let any moderator move it as necessary.

3. You're wrong about the rest. As I said in the other thread, I would take pleasure in adding to PSU's punishment by snatching away some good players. It is like the prison guard who likes his job because he gets to punish murderers. He doesn't rejoice in the fact that someone committed a murder, but he is happy to do the job of punishing the murderer.

Really? If that was the case you would've said, "Who can we recruit away from PSU whose absence would most damage the Penn State brand." You did not ask that. You asked, "Which players would be make [sic] an immediate impact for us?"

It's also important to point out that NU is not a "prison guard", that role is reserved for the legitimate legal authorities and to a lesser degree, the NCAA.

You're seeking benefit from this situation.

It is what it is. I'm just saying at some level I find that to be disgusting and yes that is probably a bit naive.

Obviously you take a transfer who would help your team.

In any event, it is pretty classless to suggest anyone even considering what PSU transfers might help their team is somehow supportive of child rape. Get down off your pedestal.

I didn't mean to imply that you were supportive of child rape, I was more imagining a conversation occuring in some coaches' meeting room with this topic in mind.

Anyhow, the kind of thing you're talking about very much is "benefiting" from child rape. Following your logic.

1. Sandusky commits crimes.

2. PSU covers it up.

3. PSU receives sanctions and players transfer.

4. PSU players land at University X, make an impact and X benefits.

Point four results, though somewhat indirectly, from point one.

I'm not saying you or NU's coaches think like that but many people will see it that way when you say "how can this help us?" It's just kind of in poor taste.

That's just my opinion and I'll leave it at that. Not trying to flame you or start some huge thing.

When the Government passes 2,600-page laws without rules written yet and with hidden taxes that no one has fully analyzed to determine their impact, most business owners (and banks for that matter) hold onto their capital instead of expanding their businesses and hiring people.
You bought the "ACA is prolonging the recession" argument?

I'd better add that to my stockpile.

Glad to see you made it in to work today.

Just hit the stop button before it finishes loading. That way you can read the article without that box popping up

I guess it only works on omaha.com now

Actually i found a way to bypass it. If you have Firefox click this link and download the addon: https://addons.mozil...-manager-plus/. If you have chrome, go look for a cookie manager in their web store

It will restart Firefox after you finish installing it. Now hit the orange button "Firefox", click "Web Developer" and then click "Cookie Manager+"

On the search bar type in "journalstar". Select everything and delete it. You have to do this every time you hit the limit
