I thought about this one overnight, and I pulled the trigger this AM after reading the Woodshed where this guy is being griped about already. I've put him on mod approval for a week, which will cover the Michigan game and the aftermath, and I sent him a lengthy PM explaining why. I didn't do this as a punitive thing, just a precautionary measure. Here's the PM I sent him:

Welcome to HuskerBoard. As you may have noticed, there's quite a bit of unrest amongst Husker fans right now. HuskerBoard has gone through a period of upheaval this season, and we've had many long-standing members become openly disgruntled at the direction the board is going. Your first post was a new thread that, your fault or not, angered a lot of people - regulars here who have made HuskerBoard the great place it is to talk Husker sports.
I'm taking a step that I don't like taking, you being new and all, but it's for the best interests of the board. I'm putting your posting ability on hold for one week, starting when this PM goes out, to ensure that you're here just to talk football and not troll. I have zero reason to believe that you're here to cause trouble, and it's with great concern that I do this, because the last thing I want to do is annoy a new member to the point where they leave. You are free to explain your position, you are free to dislike the coaches and/or the players, and you are free to do the opposite if the mood strikes. Post as you normally would.
However, before your post is viewed by the rest of the board, it will have to be approved by one of the Moderators. This can take some time, hours perhaps, and that is unfortunate, but we need to get this ship right again, and painful measures have to take place. You are not being made a scapegoat here, and I very much apologize for this action. I'm only doing this in the best interest of HuskerBoard.
Any questions, PM me. And feel free to continue posting as you would normally, but be aware there may be a delay in its delivery.
