This is the thread to list people that are from the Polo group that were banned. Indicators include someone who joins and jumps to the Woodshed almost immediately - particularly if they never asked for a password - starts giving +1s to Junior and their other buddies, and so on. We can then mover them to the Mombers user group, which has restricted privileges.

Teddy Ballgame - Used an email generator that only receives, so he can validate. When I started to block the IPs, one of the IPs he was banned already. Belonged to RotoRiot, I think.

twinkletoes - Same. He also sent us an email using that username and asked, "whats up f&%ktards?"

BigScrapper - Turns out it's Polo. At least three of BigScrapper's IPs (out of around 10 or 12) are the same as Polo's - but don't match any of the other HLR folks.

Quick note, I edited the group name to Members. Group names can be the same. It should be clear which one is the PM-enabled one based on number of users in it, but in case it's not:

Members (ID:3) -- full regular member

Members (ID:21) -- "No PM"

Sorry, addendum:

Member groups can be a lot to keep track of. If you edit a member in the ACP, you can check "Disable PM access" under the "notifications" section. Can we just do that for these guys? Might be an easier solution without having to maintain a permissions group over time.

This way, the rule just sticks with the individual members, as it should.

Well, I did more than disable PM use. I want to keep all of those restrictions as well, and I do t think all of them can be done individually (that includes size of picture uploads, rep point - just a lot of things).

Ohh, I see. I missed that. That makes sense, so let's leave it with what you've done.

Can we keep the name as "Members", though? Don't want it to appear as if we'er having a giggle over this. They'll notice eventually, or not, doesn't matter.

Cool, thanks. Yeah, I mean, they earned these restrictions. It doesn't even merit explanation for them. Really not concerned with what reaction they are going to have.

Anyone provide the Woodshed password to BigScrapper? Joined May 28. He's in the Woodshed now, and he's logged in Anonomously. Suspicious...
