To have the Big 12's leading offense and the NCAA's fifth best? How long has it been since we've been able to say that?

We have so far to go on defense. I have always believed it was defense that won National Championships. The Black Shirts look so grey lately! :angry:

 
It feels good and thanks for posting something positive, but we are not living up to our full potential on offense and are not even close defensively to what we should be..........hopefully we get it back on track this Saturday!!! :thumbs

 
Like BIGREDIOWAN said, our offense hasn't even reached its full potential. Just image what we could do when we get our offensive line problems solved. 300 rushing and 300 passing per game may not be too far fetched.

Whoa...I love our offense and all, but I'm not that confident about them after the KU game. Makes me wonder how much they are truly capable of. I believe in them all the way, but we need to play a few more teams at this rate to convince me we are that good. If we eliminate those dumb fumbles we should be near unstoppable.

 
The problem is we are still inconsistent at times............we have such potential to break it open at anytime, but we get in our own way!!!!

Very true. We are improving though. I will say one thing. We are headed in the right direction. Any intelligent recruit can see that.

 
Oh your definately right on that one..........any recruit should be able to look at this team and see how he can play a role immediately............well except for running backs and receivers......... ;)

 
If our offensive line keeps getting better we just may roll up over 6000 yards total offense for the season. That at least shows we are heading in the right direction. But the offense isn't the problem. It's the defense. Kansas isn't that tough, hopefully our last game is a fluke.

 
We are improving and yes we have a lot to work on but the clouds are dissappearing and the sun is beginning to shine a little more on Husker Nation. We are not where we need to be, but we are closer thatn we have been in a few years.

Im glad to see that we have one the best offense in the country and sure the BLACKSHIRTS!!!! wont have the same performance as last week
