It is my singular (and probably uniformed) belief that in order to make the post season, we need to finish at least .500 in the Big Ten.
We are at 3-3 now with 12 games to play.
How do we get 6 more wins?
My best guess at the schedule:
At Sparty (probable loss)
Michigan at home (toss-up)
Twice vs. Purdue (probably 2 losses mainly because of post match-up issues…multiple 7 footers)
Maryland at home (probable loss…way too much athleticism…but Miles has a history of pulling at least 1 biggie upset)
Rutgers at home (win)
At Wisconsin (toss up)
Twice with Penn St (probably two wins… MUST wins)
At Indiana (probable loss)
Ohio St at home (toss up)
At Northwestern (toss up)
So that conjures up a guess of:
5 losses
3 wins
4 toss ups
So IF things hold to form (admittedly doubtful to begin with)
The post season hinges on winning 3 of the remaining 4: 2 roadies at Wisconsin and Northwestern and 2 at home vs. Michigan and Ohio St.
Fwiw…….
