How does an A.D. "support" a football program?

I think what was needed was $25.00 gift cards, of course it's not about the money, so maybe a hand written note saying thanks for all the help you rock ............ Sincerely Sean would have saved the day.

I think you are making too much of a big deal about it. The AD's are interacting with super rich boosters before and during the games, so they are supposed to dress "professionally" during the games.

Have you guys even been to a sporting event at NU? I've seen SE at football games, volleyball games, basketball games, and softball games (sadly, did not make it a baseball game last year), in khakis, a sweatshirt and husker baseball cap. I don't know what you're talking about but he definitely supports the athletic programs. Maybe he just thought Bo was a douche and avoided him like the plague? Still, he comes to the football games and I've even seen him in the stands and STUDENT SECTION!!!

Sounds like how a "staight shooting" highly paid professional would go about showing support for those below them.

When I first heard Bo said "you can't lead under a f*ckin' rock!" that was the first thing I agreed with.

Then I thought about and realized:

I don't want to hear from the AD. Like, at all, I just don't.

 
correct me if i am wrong...but almost every time an ad gives his public support to struggling coach...that coach is a dead man walking with about 110% chance of being fired at the end of the season.

 
When an AD fires a 9 win coach after having little communication with him for two years, you know that AD was hired to fire him and was just biding his time waiting for an opportunity. The rest is all filler.

if SE was biding his time he missed the perfect time after the Iowa game last year. Bo was asking to be fired. if SE was brought in to fire Bo that was the perfect opportunity. Why didn't Bo get fired last year if that was SE's mission?
