When I first opened this thread I thought it was going to be something completely different. Why on earth would Nebraska do that? These events did not happen on our campus, nor did they involve any Nebraska officials, so our best bet is to let Penn State handle this and not make this a bigger hassle than it needs to be.
Honestly, I'd like to see a gesture of sportsmanship from our players and coaches Saturday because I feel for the players at Penn State. This is the last home game for their seniors and instead of this week being about football and their last game at Beaver Stadium, they have to deal with this. We're talking about young men that had absolutely nothing to do with that schmuck, Sandusky...why should they have to suffer? Come Saturday, I'd like to see our guys shaking hands with their guys before the game or at least some gesture of class, from human beings to human beings, letting them know that we feel for them and what is going on, because what's going on at their campus is bigger than the game of football.
