HPH talking again!!!!

Don't we have enough evidence against them to just let their ISP handle it. If their ISP doesn't handle it then we will have to handle it and just ban them eventually anyway. Do we really need to bait them on and let them continue to trash up our board with their childish antics? IMO if you know they are with HPH the only reason they want on is to screw with us. I would just ignore their email and don't un-ban them until we hear back from Birch. They're taking up to much of your time with trying to figure out who's who.

Agreed. I was just thinking that they are going to come back regardless, but if they think we are on to them they wont post their plan in that main forum, which will only make it harder to prepare for and identify their usernames.

Agreed.

While having them continue to post on HPH about this is nice, it's necessary only if we get into it with Birch. And ultimately, that means a lawsuit for harassment, interference, etc. Chad, I'm not sure you're ready to go that far at this point.

I think the best course of action is to start attacking individually - as they get on and post crap, we move it to the Junkyard, get their provider, and NetCop 'em to thier ISPs. Even if we can't get HPH shut down, if we can get a few of these jerks tossed off their providers, that will send a big message.

When someone is banned, I assume that we can still access their information, including IP and email, right? If so, then we don't even have to worry about whether they are HPHers - we just NetCop 'em if they violate the rules.

 
I think they stumbled upon our HPH account - either that or they've screwed up again. I logged in, and was reading the threads. I click the link to return to the list of threads in their main forum, and got a "Access Denied - Please Use Your Browser's Back Button". Hitting that got me to the three dead forums Chad first found when he signed up.

However...it may not be that. I was there long enough to read that they are setting up a new board to replace the old one, and for everyone to log on to it, register and get a new account (no fee at first, but they would convert the "new" accounts" to the old ones once the change over occurred). It's possible that the work they are doing on it screwed it up.

One other point. The next to last post in the "www.huskerboard.com" thread was huskerbj asking if "anyone is going to rally the troops Tuesday night", for what that's worth.

Same thing happened to me the other night. I think it might be that more than one of us were logged on at the same time.
