hskerprid hates The Dude

I'm nearly 44 years old, and I first laid hands on a computer in the late 70's, and I've been online (pre-public internet) since the early 80's. I've worked in the IT industry for nearly my entire adult life after getting out of the Army in 1994. Other than during my military service, I don't know if there is a day in the last 30 years that I haven't spent at least a few hours on a computer each day. Obviously not everyone is as knowledgeable or as into it as others, but being older isn't an excuse for being ignorant.

And yes, I can (and have) rebuilt cars and bathrooms and lots of other irrelevant sh#t, too.

It's the way I make my living, misfit. How would you propose an IT professional hold a job without spending hours a day on a computer?
