You can return punts...I didn't know that was something Nebraska was able to do.

Pierson-El saved so many Riley games from being a complete joke with special teams points. Wish he would have been a better receiver though.

 
Almost faught a guy at the MSU game when DPe waved people off on a punt then took it for a long return.  They called it back as a fair catch and it wasn't even close.

He only returned punts for TDs for Bo in 2014.  He wasn't the same after that knee injury.  Averaged 17.5 per punt return on 34 returns his freshman year, then just 6.9 on 33 returns the last 3 years of his career.

Stuff like that is why I always worry some with knee injuries for explosive guys,  like Fidone.  Some come back better than ever sure but some don't like Pierson-El.  It's not the slam dunk they ever come back the same like a lot of folks think it is.

The stat totals aren't really that applicable as (I assume) that is more total games than a usual season.

But still kind of interesting.
