I was going to make a separate thread for this. Nebraska football played a big part in this episode, and the writers did their homework.
We had been wondering what year this episode would have been taking place and Husker trivia gave me the answer: 2010.
Then they dipped back for a Reggie Baul reference. My son got a kick out of me watching all this.

If you remember that game, you might consider it a pity call from the refs. UCLA was absolutely torching the Huskers that day.

We beat them and Aikman the year prior as well as the previous 4 meetings. We also beat them next time we played them after this game as well.

I remember those games, too.
But that 1988 game made for a horrible watch party, and the girl I was hitting on turned out to be a lesbian.
