Here is a strange one.  Columbia, Tn just had a tornado hit a neighborhood just on the east side of the city.  I was interested because we stayed at a B&B in that area a few years ago and it may have been hit.  When looking at the area that was hit I saw on the map that

there is a street with this name:   Tom Osborne Road.   I was socked to see a street named after Tom in Tenn.  No idea as to why?  As far as I know, his only association wt Tenn was soundly destroying U of T in his last game.  Maybe that was Tenn's way of answering: "Who's your Daddy?"

It has some nice shacks on it too:

Tom Osborne Road in Columbia, Tennessee, is named after Tom Osborne, a former American football player, coach, and politician. Here are some details about the property located on 841 Tom Osborne Rd:

$1,330,000

Maybe the developer was a  Nebraska grad or fan.

Ive only read about minimal details concerning Nebraskas new “Walk Through Room” but it isn’t just a simple recruiting gimmick. It’s a giant simulator display they can load formations on to it and simulate real time POV in game situations for offense or defense.

Zach Smith, yes the ex Ohio St wr coach, will try and convince everyone this was his idea. However the short podcast video does do a decent job of roughly explaining what it is and why the athletic dept. dropped a ton of $$ on it. It’s the only one in the country as far as I know.

nsfw * language btw

They mentioned in the tweet that the same projectors are used by the NHL, but IDK if it's for practice or for those big projections onto the ice.
