We're ranked below the Pac-12, but at least we're ranked ahead of all of its members!

Random football/life question I can't figure out.  Do I get my new dog a Nebraska ('Lil Red) chew toy?  Or do I get my new dog an Iowa (Herky) chew toy?  I can see both views.

1000 votes is probably an exaggeration.  But we get the point.

There is a lot of laughs because nobody takes these teams seriously -

1. Iowa - for obvious reasons

2. Colorado and HC Sanders and their weirdness, hoodies, sunglasses, bling and taking receipts.

3.  Pac 12 - a joke - just a 2 team conference with OSU & Wazzu

4. Nebraska  :o ....  :hmmph :hmmph  here we go again

5. Oregon State - a Pac 12 conf team member

6. Northwestern - I mean, ...

7. Washington State - the other Pac 12 conf team member

In other words, the jokes about these teams are obvious, and nobody cares because the truth is.......

Iowa, Colorado, Nebraska, Oregon St, Northwestern, Wazzu

Talk about hitting below the belt before the season starts.  :nutz   Those are nut kicks right there.

Do you guys ever get flooded with nostalgic football-y feelings when it smells/feels like fall outside? There is always at least one time every fall where that happens to me, usually when it gets down to the 40s or 50s, and I think about throwing the football around with my brothers when I was a kid. (Mostly they just made me go fetch the ball for them, the jerks).

I'm sure I'm not the only one but I wonder how common it is. In general I have strong nostalgic reactions to smells, e.g. when I use the soap my grandma (who's been dead for years) always had at her house, I instantly think about her.

Absolutely.  Whenever it feels a bit chilly outside I instantly think about football and want to watch a game.
