Loved the Martin-ez era.

that kid played some damn good football at QB for us.  Helu is my 3rd fav IB ever behind Green and Phillips.

Rozier and Jackson to follow.

Brown, Endzone Jones, and Burkhead thereafter. Dubose wasn’t bad either.
s#!t, I guess I like them all lolol.

Blue is good, Red is bad. These numbers have us as a middle of the pack offense and very good defense which tracks. It does not like Indiana's defense as much as some metrics I've seen.

It shows Indiana’s weakness on defense being true dropbacks. Dylan needs to respond after last week and I like this matchup for him.

On the other hand, NU’s problem on offense according to the charts is play action, RPOs, and screens

I read those sentiments and pretty much agree.  We were spoiled beyond common sense back then.  Common sense, or at least a better football world view, would not have allowed the removal of that staff.  Perhaps some internal discussion, but not their ejection.  That 7-7 (2002) season was corrected the very next year.

But, you know the "Frank Solich Curse," or much other discussion with his name, probably has nothing new to offer;  it got wrung out pretty thoroughly here there and everywhere over the ensuing years.
