Can I get an IP ban for HuskerBCS for trying to start a thread I just locked again and for constant troll type behavior? My head hurts right now.................. :lol:

I'm just wondering why I have been banned from the forums. I haven't ever wrote anything that even comes close to warranting being banned. It is my choice when I come to the board and post. If I only wanted to show up and be negative, that is my choice. If I wanted to be a sunshine pumper, that is also my choice. The only reason for someone being banned should be if they are threatening or attacking others personally. If mods or other members don't like what you post, they have the ability to ignore you. I honestly believe my account should be restored. I have done nothing other than give constructive criticism and voice my displeasure of the direction of the program under Bo Pelini. Being banned for that is an absolute joke.

That's not why he was banned. He was banned for continuing a thread that I locked and finishing that thread with a comment meant to cause problems or bring about negative comments. That, by definition, is a troll in my book.

Yeah, saw that. Interesting what happens when you google his email. Use aol instead of gmail.

It's unlikely that he'd just up and make up a connection to a Husker, even a tangential Husker like an obscure golfer. I'm willing to bet this guy is actually Mark Pillen.

However... that doesn't mean he gets to troll HuskerBoard. There are ex-Huskers posting here who don't troll, just post solid info (and opinions, both positive and negative). Nobody cares if you post, and if you've been an athletic member of the athletic dept. We just don't want you to troll.

I don't think his status as a Husker Golfer (presuming this is him) gives him grounds to troll the boards. He's been a bit of a problem for quite a while.

 
Just an interesting connection there. We've had his brother, Pillen08, a one-time Husker walkon fullback, on these boards previously.

I definitely agree. It doesn't give him license to break the rules. I am not really familiar with this guy (probably partially the generic username!), but I gather the impetus was this thread which he started after his previous one had been locked?
