Just wanted to say thanks for all you've done to give all of us Husker fans a home for so long. I can easily say that without the forum here, my passion for the team and for the people who support the team would not be nearly as strong.

There will be some immediate changes and some things will remain the same. For starters this will always be a free to register and post board. I am not encouraging Husker Board members to join the HuskerMax board and I am not encouraging HuskerMax members to join Husker Board. They are two separate and distinct communities and should remain that way. 

The most immediate change will be migrating the site from the current BBS software to Xenforo which will happen before the first game this Saturday against South Alabama. I have spoken to Mavric and will be speaking to other current moderators and get their input and ask them to continue supporting the board with their moderating. I look forward to continue to build on what Chad's group has created for the past 16 years and make it a top notch Husker online community for years to come.

Would like to meet posters here in person and you are welcome to stop by and say hello at Marlin's tailgate at the corner of 8th and N this Saturday. I will be there with Rich Glover before and after the game. If you plan on stopping by please reply to this thread with the number of people so Marlin can have enough food and drink available. There is no charge and a donation jar to help Marlin pay for food and drink will be available.

I came here in 2012 from another board that was constantly negative.  I found this to be a good balance of people who can discuss things Husker related and wasn't just one big whiny b!^@h fest.  I am greatly appreciative of that and have found this to be the best Husker board on the web.

I have used your site for Husker information for a long time.  I'm sure you are going to do a great job with this site also.  

It's always frustrating for a number of members when software changes on a site like this.  We are all so used to how this board works, it's just natural.  However, everyone needs to think back to the last time this updated.  There was a lot of confusion and frustration.  It all works out and we will grow to know the new board just the same.  There will be some we really like and some we won't.  But, that's the same with this one too.
