YES! One of the most annoying types of posts made here. And most of the time it isn't a personal attack.

Your schtick in this thread is getting old. Your whining about the whiners isn't any less annoying than the whiners you're whining about. And before you say it, nobody's whining about people being unhappy about the season. And if you didn't have any problem with anyone on this forum lately you would post as much as you used to, so what's your problem with other people voicing their displeasure about things?

Furthermore, there was a member of this forum you used to complain about and argue with all the time. This is no different than that. In fact this isn't as bad as that because it doesn't permeate dozens of threads.

You're wrong, but I shouldn't have said this thread. Most of his posts about it were in a different topic. He's constantly posting QQ photos implying we're all a bunch of babies and he's said as much, too.

I only wish she took it as well as she gives it...

Explain to me what I give that I can't take. I think you've made more posts whining about people who want trolls and spammers to be gone than I've made about wanting them to be gone.

I don't think anyone is suggesting people should be banned for being negative.

True, we don't penalize people for negative opinions. Or positive. But it gets very tiresome seeing every single thread on the board turn into a bash-Riley-and-his-staff thread. There are a handful of posters who crap on every thread by starting arguments criticizing or defending Mike Riley. I realize MR is the central figure in Husker football right now. But I wish we could have conversations about some other aspect of our team without it devolving into a crap spewing contest.

Ha ha! Good point. But in theory every thread has a topic unto itself. Sure, the conversation winds here and there. And there's no need to stay strictly on point in every thread. That's not how conversations work. But it gets tiresome when a handful of posters post the same tripe over and over in dozens of threads.

Preaching to the choir brother, some of the sh#t has gotten so tiresome. I don't venture into the football forum some days, if I'm in a good mood I wanna keep it that way and that place tends to piss me off anymore.

I hate that we are losing people and gaining people who are only here to sh#t all over before disappearing.

It was very revealing to come across Husker fans during and after the game that were/are so negative and just couldn't be pleased with an amazing hard fought win with a bad call on a play that went our way. For me, in the contest crib, I had this game as a total blowout by Michigan St.. I don't remember my prediction ... it was something like 45-17. I thought we would get thumped. Yet, I was cheering for my Huskers and was excited and believing the entire game that we still had a chance ... even to the end. You can check out the live game thread for proof.

Anyways, I was sincerely appalled by quite a few number of Huskerboard fans and it brought up a thread topic off of the humorous one we see sometimes called ... "Name of Team Sucks: Who Do We Steal?"

Other impressions or thoughts? Maybe this thread should go in the "Woodshed" ... but I don't visit or go there.
