By no means am I stating we should rely on jucos but you have to commend the staff for the ones we got in this cycle.
A mammoth OT that should have 3 years to play. A heck of a pass rushing DE that could have been rated the number 1 overall JUCO player if he didn't get injured. Not to mention he also has 3 years to play. Lastly, a OG/C with a mean streak who is a 3 for 2 player. Chongo is needed with how much we lost on the interior line.
All three have the chance to make an immediate impact and be multi year starters.
The only wiff is missing on a JUCO DT. This hurts but at the same time I'm happy the staff didn't reach for a kid who might not be the right guy.
Overall, well done staff. Keep it up. 2-3 jucos a year is not a bad thing as long as they can step in and play right away.
