Why are you guys talking about K-state? We play Iowa St on saturday. Let talk about what NU needs to do to beat ISU. Lets talk about K-state next week.

I can't wait for this game because I would love nothing more than to see our defense slam Freeman into the ground so hard he curls up in the fetal position and starts to suck his thumb....................however; I'm taking this one game at a time and looking forward to us stepping up and taking ISU out at their house!!!!! :thumbs

You guys went through a drought... but you never lost to Baylor, so I don't expect you to understand where I'm at right now.

I'm still optimistic... Just hard not to be a realist at the same time. If we have a better performance this week, I'll feel like we have a chance... But after we played Saturday; It's hard to find a winnable game this year. Colorado is starting to look like a tough game.

 
The information coming out about Boss's departure from the team is disturbing to say the least!! Have fun with Prince down there Willie!! :steam

 
I'm not really upset with Coach Prince... I think the current defections are a reflection of the attitude problem we've been dealing with for the past two years.... I know someone in the program, and the F-bomb and Coach fighting with an assistant rumor is grossly exagerated. I still have faith in this program; But honestly I knew there were attitude problems on the team during the 04 & 05 season. I'm just glad we finally have a coach that has the balls wipe that cancer out.

I guess everyone has to be humbled every now and then; it just sucks the fans have to be embarrassed along with the team.

Is there some sort of split among players who were recruited by Snyder and those recruited by Prince?? Or is it a perceived split? Is Prince wanting to play his recruits because he thinks they're better or because the other/older players aren't playing up to par?

That's the rumor going around... But honestly, that would be a pretty odd split... Currently there are only 2 starters that are actually "princes" guys. Freeman and the running back Patton. If there is a division of the team I would say it is not between who was recruited by snyder or not, but who Coach Princes percieved "favorites" are.
