My space just experienced a huge drop off. I think for two reasons: parents have caught wind of some of the things on there and then "myspace" is simply not that cool anymore

of course that was inevitable it would drop off a bit, b/c of hte reasons you listed and also b/c of all the copycats that have popped up, (LOSERS!) but overall the "network" format sites are bigger than ever and not slowing down anytime soon.

oh and youre not that cool anymore either but i still throw teh beer with you

Personally, I don't really like MySpace too much. I guess the idea is good, but when it is put in the hands of people who are able to create possibly the worst thing that an internet browser has rendered it becomes seizure provoking. Everyone has myspace page and a lot of em suck. Like really suck.

I like the idea of having members able to do blogs, more personal pages outside of myspace. That's a great idea. Being able to browse different Husker fan pages, see pics of memorabilia, pics from times in lincoln, etc would be awesome.

yes you speak the truth my man. myspace is very much a portal to tEH 1997 W3BPAG3 flaming marquee of H377 ERA. very very offensive excuses for "websites" going on. but strangely enough thats the type of sh#t that people seem to be attracted to. people are very voyuerisitc by nature (e.g. ETRs job as a johnny-on-the-spot cleaner) , and love having nsight into other peoples worlds, hideous or otherwise.
