here is your first mistake, when you said possibilities you should have listed every team that was on the schedule. because it was a possibility that NU could lose to each team on the list.....not likely but a possibility none the less

That's where you're wrong. I did not enjoy this loss one bit. I knew it was coming though, so it makes it a little easier to deal with. Don't be bitter because your little sunshine and lollipop world is about to come crashing down around you.

Look, I said NU was going to lose 4-5 games this year. It's impossible to predict EXACTLY how many we'll lose and who we're going to lose them to when...

a] I have no idea if we'll get in the Big XII title game

and

b] I haven't the slightest f'ing idea who we may play in a bowl game.

That's 1-2 potential losses there as we won't get a pushover in either of them.

Out of the remaining games I know we're going to play, the toughest games are OSU, T A&M, @Mizzou and @ KU. I have to imagine we're not going to win all of those, I think us going 2-2 in those game is pretty damn optimistic. We may lose three. If I was really all gloom and doom like everyone seems to believe I'd be saying we'll lose every f'ing one of them. Is that what you really want to hear?

To those of us with 2 Left Feet.."dancing all over the board" and "victory laps" are indistinguishable.

"Expect the worst and hope for the best" isn't necessarily being negative..It's just a defense mechanism that too many of us seem to employ (me included)...But we all probably need your outlook expressed from time to time..to help cushion the blow in Worst Case Scenarios (WCO?).

On a "brighter note"

Sadly after our Defensive performance today..We'll need to score 71 to beat OSU.
