Instead of throwing around all the insults and taking pot shots at a persons character and manhood just because they disagree with you (ad homonym attacks are a tool for the weak of mind), you should take a good look at what was proposed and analyze it. I don't happen to agree that we will lose five games this year, but lets go back and look at his list again.
Okay, he was right, we lost to USC.
I see his point, we could easily have lost to WF (although he cannot count it as a correct prediction since we won).
OSU can score points and we have proven, with our pathetic defensive performances that we are unable to play defense at this point. So, this is a distinct possibility.
Mizzu is a maybe.
Texas in Texas will certainly be tough, particularly with McCoy hitting his stride.
Considering our D, Kansas could be tough.
The Big XII championship is a possibility
And the Bowl game.
Anyone with any sense can see that this guy could be right. I don't want him to be right. Believe me, I was sweating bullets today when Ball State lined up for what could have been the game winning field goal.
Something has to be done. Maybe the start of his thread was ill timed, but I really disagree with name calling and insults just because someone disagrees with your opinion.
Hopefully it will not take a five or six loss season for Callahan, and the powers that be, to see the real problem and do something about it.
I would love to go 13-1 to finish the season but if I got on here and predicted that most people wouldn't think I was being very realistic. So as for a "prediction" I fear Bugeater may have a chance at being correct. Now, I don't know if he really would call anyone out and make people eat crow over Nebraska losses. I myself have called people out over Cosgrove's inability to coach defense. But I think I have been more vocal after some wins than after our losses. What has bothered me the most is the "well at least we won so Cosgrove is okay" attitude. The fact that you cannot see the problems with our program that doesn't make you a better fan. It makes you myopic.
