I want Nebraska to take the names off the Jerseys...

I say leave the names, but, let's set some limits.

T Williams and S Williams is okay

But are we really gonna confuse HELU JR with HELU SR?

and why is J JONES Hulio Jones and not Julio Jones?

I think it would be pretty cool to see your name on the back of a Husker jersey. For an incoming freshman seeing their name on that jersey, it probably serves as an awesome symbol to show that they are now a Husker. And I don't think a name on the jersey really creates a selfish player. In fact, I would argue that having their name on the back would, if anything, bring more responsibility and accountability to a player.

On that note, I would love it if they would go back to the old school uniforms. Just put a name on the back and a "N" on the helmet.

Well in defense of Roy I think the Junior part of his name is his legal name and I see nothing wrong with it. I've seen players with roman numerals as part of there names.

 
Keep the names. If we need to have no names to promote "team unity" then I think we'd have bigger issues than whether names were on or not.

And (not that it matters)...it is aesthetically pleasing.

Not trying to offend anyone, but in some cases (maybe not Roy's) players have gone to extremes, I mean roman numerals. please
