Ideas for banner?

Hey, just wanted to get your opinions on something. For the big banner Im having made for the tailgate, I was planning to just put HuskerBoard.com in as big of letters as possible - but am thinking it might be good to have something encouraging others to stop by - b/c after all the main purpose of the tailgate is to 1) improve the relations b/t the current members & 2) recruit new members to the mothership.

the banner will be good exposure by itself, but some poeple might be afraid to stop by b/c they think its a member only thing. Should I include something like "non-members welcome" or "guests welcome"... other ideas? I'll have flyers to hand out to interested people, so we defintly want to make it as inviting as possible.

what do you guys think - would you be more inclined to stop by if there was a "welcome all" - or is it not necessary?

I think something indicating that guests are welcome would be wise - most stadiums I've been to that had tailgate parties that had a banner (unless it was a "public" entity like a radio station) tended to be "members only".

I agree. We need to draw some people in that aren't members already. Obviously the banner should say Huskerboard.com in big letters. Then some kind of phrase like "The heartbeat of Husker nation" or something like that. Then maybe have something like "Members and guest's welcome!"

The flyers are a good idea too. I think on the flyer it should give some info on the board , obviously, about what contests we run, what you can win. The fact that it's FREE, etc, etc.

Guests Welcome would be good. Only reason not to put something like that is could this banner be used for an occasion where 'Guests Welcome' would not be appropriate? You planning on marching in any parades?

I would take off "Breaking recruiting news" maybe put "talk Husker Recruiting"
