I'd take one! Don't know if I'll make it in, but at least I'm on top of it this year. I think I got onto the line up last year and didn't even know it for a couple months...

that is a good question. i think it means that i am a poster who is not simply the best poster on the board, but a poster that the board can build its "franchise" around for the foreseeable future. some call me the 'a.i.' of this board. but it might also mean i am restricted from free agency.

Really, we are just not sure we want to bring you back from one year to the next, so we are skittish on a long-term contract. So we just franchise tag you every year. No guaranteed money.
