Another way to look at this idea of staying home. A father, who loves sports and had some success playing them in school, has 2 sons. He encourages them both and coaches them from a young age. The oldest son has ability and also succeeds at whatever sport he plays. Soccer, baseball, football and basketball. Son number two tries to please dad by playing the same sports but doesn't have the same aptitude as son number one. He has limited success. In baseball he often strikes out. In football he gets in the game the last few minutes and never plays in key moments. What father in his right mind would show his disgust by not going to every game possible and staying to the end.
I'm not saying we have to love Bo. While he has done most things the right way, graduation rates, recruiting kids who fit the program etc, we have to wonder about his coaching abilities. If you have a ticket and can go by all means go and cheer for the seniors who will be introduced before the game. A few of those kids have rarely if ever been on the field so this will be their one chance in the spotlight. If you want to show your disdain for the program don't renew your tickets for next year.
