This game just got stoooopid for no reason.

All you had to do was be in a shell.  Illinois sucks, make them drive, at worst, they kick a FG and it is half 17-3 and NU gets the ball.

That was a pretty easy throw to Coleman he missed.   Just put a little air and touch on it towards the sideline and it's an easy catch.  Another disadvantage to side arm.  NO TOUCH

Newsome has been beat like a red headed step child the last 3 games, twice on that series alone.  I wish he could figure out that he can look for the ball because he would have a ton of breakups and INT's.

This would have been avoided if Haarberg throw an accurate ball to the open receiver to keep our drive alive. This inconsistency in Haarberg’s throws is his one weakness. He is still better than Sims imho.
