****Illinois Game Day Thread****

Fwiw, I think everyone brings up good points but I also like the coaches being aggressive. Part of our team’s issues are believing bad things will happen, and attempting to score before the half is an effort to change that.

But after that first bad throw, I would have just ran the ball and tried to get it to halftime. All good. Win this road game.
Being up 17-0 at half and getting the ball...That would have been great for the team.

Not being up 17-7, with a FG attempt that could have made it a one score game.

Up 3 scores, on the road, getting the ball???  The game is over with a 6 minute drive and a TD to start the second half.

Need to score on opening drive. Period. Satterwhite needs to sit in the corner. Quit passing and run the ball and have them burn those timeouts. I’m starting to question his play calling. HH isn’t seeing the field. Don’t throw a pick six. Just pound them. Win ugly.

HH BLOWS...

Get the kick and burn at least 5 minutes with some score...PLEASE

FWIW, I didn't mention Sims or 2-minute drill.

Me mentioning those things was reiterating it was a bad coaching decision to try scoring there.  The series before with 5 minutes left should have shown them that it was a terrible idea.  I am for being aggressive, but the decision to air it out there was far more reckless than aggressive.

Part of our identity is to get the call, then throw a bunch of incomplete almost interception passes that burn ten seconds off the clock. Wasn't that exciting?
