Really a good presser. I didn’t get to hear all of it, but full of insights….
 

what it means to be from Nebraska, Paul Harvey’s influence, why Friday night games aren’t so bad, how our student section rates, and so much more. And that was only the last 10-15 minutes.

Going online makes perfect sense when you consider trying to hold regular classes with 90k people coming on campus for the game.  That would be a huge pain for normal live classes for instructors, students, and staff imo.

pfft. there are not that many classes after 4pm. also, move them all to 5am. 

 
I hope this crowd brings their A game like they did for CU.  It might not seem like a huge game, but this is against a ranked opponent and an unbeaten team.  This is a chance to get noticed more as a really good team.

 
I hate stuff like this, from an Illini site.  Like, stop acting like the classes that are canceled for tomorrow are the class you need to become a rocket scientist or find the cure for cancer.    A few of the posters that I read get it, 90,000+ people coming to campus and around campus, probably by 2pm at the latest.  The bars will be open early, parking will be packed, lots will be full, tailgating will be in high gear.  No need to add in people to the logistics of it all.  Post below:

I don't think this has been mentioned yet, but Nebraska has canceled in person classes on Friday to accommodate students so they can fully attend and enjoy the game. Yes, this is an actual thing and not a joke:

So expect an even roudier crowd on Friday with a full day of drunken pregaming. Nebraska fans seem absolutely psyched about this game and the prospect of beating a Top 25 team for the first time in something like 8 years. Most are extremely confident in this being a blowout and will likely be showing up expecting domination.
